Of Color & Ink: Chang Dai-chien After 1949

「OF COLOR AND INK」 is a feature documentary that traces the footprints of a Chinese artist’s exile from East to West.
Chang Daichien(Zhang Daqian) (1899-1983), the most important Chinese artist of the 20th Century, is frequently compared to Picasso because of his eclectic production and charismatic personality, yet, his 30 years of exile has been a mystery and for the most part misunderstood in both China and the West. Of Color and Ink will uncover the mystery and explore the depth of life and works of Chang Daichien as an artist who forms a bridge between China’s past and present, as well as between East and West.
