JASIN: The Jasin, Masjid Tanah and Alor Gajah parliamentary seats will all witness a four-cornered fight in the 15th General Election (GE15).
In Jasin, former Merlimau assemblyman Datuk Roslan Ahmad turned up at the nomination centre at the Politeknik Merlimau here with a large number of supporters.
He is contesting under the Barisan Nasional banner.
Roslan will face Datuk Mohd Nasir of Gerakan Tanah Air (GTA), Pakatan Harapan’s Datuk Harun Mohamed and Zulkifli Ismail of Perikatan Nasional.
In Alor Gajah, former Melaka chief minister Adly Zahari who is contesting under Pakatan Harapan also came to the nomination centre at Universiti Teknologi Mara in Lendu accompanied by a large number of supporters.
Adly will contest against Shahril Hamdan of Barisan, Muhammad Nazriq Abdul Rahman of GTA, and Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Md Yusoff of Perikatan.
At Masjid Tanah, Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Sulaiman Md Ali, and state Barisan Chief Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh accompanied the coalition’s candidate, Abdul Hakim Abdul Wahid.
Abdul Hakim will challenge incumbent Datuk Wira Mas Ermieyati Samsudin, Muda’s Mutalib Uthman and Handrawiraman Abu Bakar of GTA.
